Emine Kosemogullari, known as Emy, builds delicate and deeply personal tattoo work in Istanbul with a calm, art-first approach rooted in precision.
I'm Emine Kosemogullari, though most people know me as Emy. I graduated from both Law and Sociology, but art never sat quietly in the background. Painting, composition, and visual storytelling were always part of how I saw the world.
After graduation, I worked briefly as a lawyer. Around that time I started making temporary tattoos for friends and people around me, and it quickly became obvious that I wanted to create work that stayed with people for life.
That decision led me into formal tattoo training. The deeper I went, the clearer it became that tattooing was not a side path. It was the work I wanted to devote myself to fully.
For more than four years, I have worked as a full-time tattoo artist in Istanbul, creating pieces with intention, clarity, and a strong respect for the person who will carry them.
Fine line, realism, and custom tattoos.
Galata and Kadikoy studio sessions
I keep the process personal and clear from the first conversation to the final session. The goal is to create a tattoo that feels balanced on the body and meaningful to the person wearing it.
Each design is prepared for the individual, not taken from a generic template. I focus on tattoos that feel personal, clean, and long-lasting.
Consultations are calm, placement is considered carefully, and the full process is shaped to feel safe, clear, and comfortable.
